Rihanna was spotted drinking rather heavily in recent days, and she blames her grandmother's death for her heavy imbibing. Her grandmother--whom she lovingly referred to as Gran Gran Dolly--died last week in Barbados.
According to a report from Celebuzz, the "Birthday Cake" singer tweeted a photo of herself drinking a beer on Tuesday morning, along with the caption, "I had to!!! Sorry granny."
Some people expected Chris Brown might show up in Barbados for either the wake or funeral for Ri's grandmother, and to console the singer. However that wasn't the
case at all. In fact, Chris was reportedly back in Los Angeles with Karrueche Tran while Rihanna grieved alone.
Do you think Rihanna's drinking is really due to the passing of her beloved grandmother or is she mourning the relationship she wants with Chris Brown that isn't quite coming to fruition? It would certainly seem if the two were getting back together that standing by her side in the midst of a crisis would have been a perfect way to start.
