Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez aren't exactly strangers to speculation and controversy. Although the 2 teens have been in what appears to be a committed, stable relationship for more than a year, there have been a plethora of break-up rumors. And now there are rumblings of JB planning a mutiny before his upcoming tour. The Teen Dream is reportedly thinking of splitting from the former Disney star because he wants to hook up with other chicks while on the road. And who can blame him? Monogamy is difficult and unnatural even under the best of circumstances. Of course, the real question is: Are Selena and the Biebs on the rocks? Or are they merely on the ropes? Is Selena hanging on for dear life? Or will she achieve every teenage girl's dream and get to spend a lifetime with JB? According to a celebrity body language expert, the correct answer is the last one. Linda Talley says Jelena is still steady as they go.
After scrutinizing 2 photos of the teen couple which you can see by clicking here, Dr. Tally gave the couple's chances for relationship longevity a definite thumbs up.
"Justin has a somewhat stoic look on his face and his body positioning is open — nothing to hide...," says Talley. "He's holding Selena's hand in a gentle manner, with his hand in front to show that he's leading the way for her...It doesn't look like [a] break up to me."
Dr. Talley goes on to summarize the second pic, taken just days ago in Japan, thus:
"Both are displaying open poses, a 'V' for victory? Justin has a genuine smile, so he's happy about something. Selena has the more seductive/pouty smile — perfect for the woman who feels assured of herself. She holds her purse away from her body — no need for barriers."
So, there you have it. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez look like they're still in love --at least when they're in public being photographed by paparazzi. A recent poll doesn't really buy into Dr. Talley's optimism however. In response to the question: "Do you think Justin and Selena will stay together?" only a narrow 51.2 percent majority voted "Yes." No one was undecided.
Oops.
Stay tuned.
