NeNe Leakes Booted From 'Real Housewives!' Fact or Fiction?

Is NeNe Leakes' time on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" over? Leave it to MediaTakeOut to make up a story about the reality television star being kicked off the show because she allegedly punched a producer.

In case you missed it, the rumor was that NeNe Leakes got into a physical altercation with a male producer of the show, apparently striking him in the face. The thing is, according to Gossip Cop, those fine folks at MediaTakeOut made the entire thing up.

That's right! Between the people at Bravo! saying that the story wasn't true to NeNe Leakes' own people coming to the defense of NeNe, everyone says it is a lie. Even Leakes, who isn't normally one to turn down the attention and the press thought the entire story was a bit ridiculous. "I really do appreciate the press but can u guys come up wit a better story than that," tweeted NeNe.

Of course, at this point it is hard to believe anything that shows up on the internet. Places like MTO can write just about anything they want, find an "insider" to get a quote, and run with it until the celebrity or a rep wastes their time to dispel the rumor.
