Most Robert Pattinson fans would vociferously argue that their idol is physically perfect. Thus, there are no extant photographs of him looking awkward, goofy, creepy, dorky, nerdy, smarmy, crazy or just plain unattractive. Well, maybe those loyal Twihards should look again. In some recent photos snapped at Comic-Con, RPattz somehow manages to look not only awkward, goofy, creepy, dorky, nerdy, smarmy, and crazy, but also--gasp--borderline butt ugly. And yet the world did not implode. How is that possible?
While the planet's still spinning, you can peruse the offending shots of the Cosmopolis man's not so handsome countenance. Interestingly, despite his static pulchritude, Pattinson has an uncannily rubber-faced ability to contort his features into expressions so odd he almost seems to be wearing an RPattz Halloween mask. That is, if novelty companies made such things. Actually, they might start doing just that once they get a load of the Twilight heart-throb's bizarre Comic Con head shots. Ouch.
But wait. Before Robert Pattinson obsessed fans become so depressed they lose the will to live, there's no need to despair. Fortunately, Rob's mugging and grimacing for the camera (or his own amusement?) aren't permanent. His picture perfect features snapped right back into matinée idol mode. How wonderful if every imperfection in the universe could be so fleeting.

This isn't the first time RPattz has appeared at Comic Con without his usually handsome "poker face." Click there to see pics of Rob looking weird at Comic-Cons past. There's also a sample pic of Weird/Ugly Rob below. His fellow heart-throb Taylor Lautner seems to be ignoring him on purpose. Wonder why? Oh well, enjoy. Or cringe. Or whatever.
Note: Wonder how Kristen Stewart reacts to Rob's mugging and grimacing? Not that she has a right to say much about anything. La Stewart has been known to sport some odd facial expressions in public herself.
