Katie Holmes is not wasting any time getting Suri Cruise enmeshed in normal childhood activities. Tom Cruise's six-year-old has lived a very different life than most kids her age, mainly due to her father's involvement in Scientology. Katie chose to divorce her husband in order to give her daughter a chance at a normal life.
Just a few days after Tom and Katie signed a divorce settlement, Katie went into action. With Scientology out of the way, Suri will get to go to school with kids her own age. Katie has reportedly enrolled Suri into an all-girls Catholic school in New York. Suri was home schooled in the past, so this will be an exciting adventure for her.
If Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes remained married, Suri would most likely have been attending a special school of Scientology. Clearly, that made Katie uncomfortable, and she was forced to take drastic measures.
According to reports, Suri will be attending the same school Lady Gaga went to when she was a little girl. That may not be one of the best selling points for the school to boast about. If Suri's enrollment is accepted, she will likely begin classes in September. The divorce may be tough on the little girl, but it will do her good to have some stability in her life.
