Usher's stepson Kile Glover remains on life support more than a week after a tragic accident left him brain-dead. Now his mom Tameka Foster is faced with the most difficult decision of her life. She could be forced to have Kile removed from life support in early August if insurance coverage for the boy expires.
According to a report from TMZ, Tameka hasn't given up hope that a miracle will bring her 11-year-old son back to her, but the doctor's opinion appears grave. If the insurance company stops paying, she doesn't have the means to keep Kile on life support.
Kile Glover was struck by a jet ski driven by a family friend as he rode on a tube pulled by a boat. He was unresponsive when pulled from the water and never regained consciousness.
Usher Raymond has by his stepson's side since the accident and has been a huge source of support for the entire family, including his ex-wife. However he hasn't offered to pay to keep Kile on life support—at least not yet.
Do you think Usher is reluctant to make such an offer because he believes his beloved stepson is technically already gone? Does he think keeping him on life support might wind up being even more traumatic for the family?
It will be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks and if the insurance company softens its stance on keeping Kile alive. In the meantime, Tameka Foster is still praying that a miracle from God will save her 11-year-old boy's life.
