Bill and Giuliana Rancic have announced that they'll head to Colorado for their "babymoon" - a last-ditch effort to vacation before their twosome becomes a threesome - to await the birth of their son via surrogate.
The baby, who is due in six weeks in Denver, Colorado, will be heading for the hills (or mountains, in this case) to be nearby "just in case he decides to come early."
The couple, who had a Denver-based fertility doctor prior to Giuliana's diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer, felt good about finding a surrogate in Denver, citing that the "clean living" there alleviated their concerns about the surrogate's health and habits.
As for their choice, the surrogate, whose identity Bill and Giuliana have kept private, is a mid-30's French former au pair. As to whether she has had any children previously and can be expected to deliver early, they have not said, but if this is her first pregnancy, chances are she won't be delivering their son anytime soon!
Hopefully, whether he arrives early or not, Giuliana and Bill can spend these last weeks of childlessness preparing themselves for the rigors of early parenthood!
