Rihanna and Chris Brown's rocky and maybe romantic relationship (or lack thereof) saga is marching right along. First, the provocative and heated Twitter love triangle between the two exes and Brown's girl, Karrueche Tran, raised eyebrows among fans and non-fans. Then, there was that nightclub brawl between Breezy and Drake, not to mention RiRi's revealing Harper's Bazaar interview about love and loss.
But while the rumors continue to swirl, it seems the "Where Have You Been" singer and Brown had their own clandestine tryst a few days ago, and a source has spilled some of the details of the tête-à -tête. But does this rendezvous mean that the Barbadian beauty and her ex are finally reconciling? Probably not, at least not yet. But it's still an interesting development in this dramatic "love" story.
As Hollywood Life confirms, the insider said that Rihanna and Chris Brown "secretly hooked up Friday night... way off the grid. They spent like 30 or 45 minutes together and just talked just the two of them... they just wanted some privacy. It was real chill and they didn't want anybody following them..."
Apparently, Brown even changed cars and he and RiRi rode out to Burbank, California to avoid any peeping paparazzi. However, given their history in the spotlight—both solo and as a duo—it's not shocking that the two entertainers would go to such lengths to keep their appearances together on the down-low. They're obviously dealing with some tumultuous times, and the spotlight cannot help the situation.
The insider didn't reveal the secret meeting spot of the pair and also added, "I don't know what they talked about but I guess they just wanted to see each other low key without all the drama."
Drama is one thing that Rihanna and Chris Brown probably don't need anymore of at this point. Plus, they're pretty good at generating their own buzz, separate from their maybe-relationship together—from her risqué ensembles to both of their successful music careers.
