When Kourtney Kardashian announced she was pregnant around Christmas time, many were happy for this oldest Kardashian member, but others were worried. Her first son Mason has been the focal point of the family since he was born and he has gotten lots of attention from everyone in the family since he was born. Now, he would no longer be getting all of the attention from his mother and family; he would now have to share with his sister when she was born this summer.
After Penelope Scotland Disick was born this July, Kourtney and Scott tried telling Mason that he would become a big brother and that he needed to protect his sister, not be jealous of her. And it seems to have worked. According to Belfast Telegraph, Mason is already exhibiting signs of being an overprotective brother, which is good compared to an angry and jealous older brother.
"He's really excited about having a new playmate and has actually showed an incredibly mature side," a source has shared of Kourtney Kardashian's son Mason. "He's really shaping up to become a super protective big brother." Of course, Kourtney and Scott are still giving him all of the attention in the world, including allowing him to pick color schemes for Penelope's nursery. He isn't being left out of the process of preparing for her, which is why he is so involved and caring. "Kourtney and Scott have been pretty sensible about it. They included Mason in decisions about the nursery and everything else that's been going on. He's quite fascinated by all the new girly toys," continues the source.
Do you think Kourtney and Scott are making the right decisions regarding their son's attitude towards Penelope?
