This season of The Bachelorette, Emily Maynard was faced with some tough choices. She was fooled by several men into thinking that they were perfect for her, including one that called her daughter 'baggage' and another one who kept calling her a 'trophy wife' and lured her in with his perfect words and smooth talking. With a little help from some of the other men, Emily made some choices for herself to send them home, leaving her with two men; Arie and Jef Holm. After the Men Tell All special last night, new information has surfaced on the web and it sounds like Emily actually picks Arie in the finale.
Supposedly, Arie isn't ready to get engaged and while Emily Maynard begs him to reconsider, perhaps she enjoys his lips so much, he tells her that there is only one thing left to do because Jef is still in the picture; he wants her to go after Jef. No wonder Jef has spoken so fondly of Arie since the show stopped filming. He is getting Arie's left overs and he is happy with it.
Yesterday on the special, Chris Harrison hints that Emily may end up picking neither man for herself and Ricki. However, it sounds like Emily does end up picking Arie, who then dumps her, leaving her to accept a proposal from Jef. If one guy doesn't want her, why not say 'I choose you' to the second guy. It all seems a little odd. Perhaps the truth will be revealed on Sunday's finale, which is followed by After the Final Rose.
Why do you think Arie would lead Emily on for so long, if he knew he wasn't ready to get engaged?
