Though Anastasia Steele is described as caucasian in the book, some would like to see an actress of color play the main female lead in the 50 Shades of Grey movie. Why not step away from the norm? After all, Ana's race isn't essential for the storyline. For those who'd like to see a bit of diversity in the film, there's one celebrity they can likely check off the list to play Christian Grey's plaything: Rihanna.
The Barbadian singer embraces her sexuality with the way she dresses in her music videos, model shoots, and her Twitter poses. And don't forget that she sang a song called S&M. For that reason, she could be a great choice to play a sensual character such as Ana. However, it may come as no surprise that E.L. James's erotic book series doesn't shock the pop star in the least. In fact, she basically dissed it when a Twitter fan suggested she read the first book in the trilogy. Her response (note the hash tag) was, "@SarahNevilleRih: @rihanna you should read "Fifty Shades Of Grey" :)" # phuckyoamateurs."
Wow, RiRi, tell us how you really feel, why don't you??
Clearly, (1) Rihanna would have no interest in starring in the 50 Shades of Grey movie and (2) producers wouldn't want her because she's already badmouthed the characters.
If Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele are "amateurs," it makes you wonder what Rihanna's like in the bedroom! Do you think she would have made a good choice for the film?
