The 2012 Summer Olympic games commenced yesterday in London with the opening ceremonies, a celebration that seems to have gotten everyone talking—even One Direction's Zayn Malik who rarely has anything to say (on Twitter, anyway).
Zayn, who really seems to be making more of an effort lately to communicate with his fans on the social networking site, tweeted today about yesterday's opening ceremonies: "Thought the Olympic opening ceremony yesterday was amazing, what do you guys think? X"
Zayn has definitely been tweeting more consistently recently, sometimes even multiple times in a single day, whereas before, Directioners were lucky to hear from him once every few weeks. Perhaps Zayn got wind that fans wished he'd be more social. Regardless, he definitely seems to be making more of an effort to interact with fans.
Zayn Malik and the other One Direction guys, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson, will soon have the opportunity of a lifetime—the boyband is among those scheduled to perform during the closing ceremonies of the 2012 Summer Olympics.
