Farrah Abraham's Pregnancy a Result of Boredom?

Despite the teen pregnancy rate lowering, each year many girls find themselves new parents. Obviously it is hard, but the girls of Teen Mom have dedicated their lives to giving girls an inside look at the difficulties. Now, Farrah Abraham is revealing what may have led to her pregnancy and you may be shocked!

According to Farrah, "boredom," is the reason telling Mom Finds, "I think some of the smaller cities or towns where we're from, there's not that much to do there, and I think also that's why most teenagers have sex, is 'cause we're bored"

While it may sound like a completely insane answer, Farrah may actually be onto something. The Teen Mom originally hailed from Council Bluffs, Iowa, an area that is just as exciting as it sounds. Obviously, many teens are looking for "something fun" to do and it makes sense that these teens turn to sex for a thrill. Many of these small town girls also hold onto these relationships and never take the time see what else is out there in the great big world. Incidentally, Farrah's pregnancy is what actually helped her to get out into the world and try so many new endeavors. Had she not been on 16 & Pregnant, she may not have had the same modeling and cooking opportunities that her stardom has given her.

If girls are bored and having sex, though, shouldn't they protect themselves? In fact, Farrah Abraham reveals that she was indeed on birth control when she conceived Sophia. She insists that she was doing everything to avoid getting pregnant and even went a little "crazy" on the gynecologist! Of course, Farrah is known for her feisty attitude, so it isn't that hard to imagine!
