Kim Kardashian tweeted about new diamonds recently. Did Kanye West buy them for her? Are these diamonds significant of anything more than a gift?

According to a report from Hollywood Life, Kim tweeted a picture of beautiful new diamond earrings on Tuesday, along with a simple comment.

"Bling bling," she tweeted.

Do you think these diamond earrings came from Kanye West? He is constantly lavishing expensive gifts upon the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. Is this yet another of his generous offerings? Just days ago he talked of possibly buying Kim a boat!

If these diamond earrings are in fact from Kanye, do they mean anything special in the couple's relationship? Do they serve the purpose a promise ring might serve?
