Miley Cyrus may have her bizarre moments, what with her provocative, look-at-me and even makeup-free Twitter posts, her skimpy and skin-baring fashion statements, and her recent admission to "online stalking" One Direction hottie band member Zayn Malik. But none of this has seemed to bother her longtime boyfriend turned recent fiancé, Liam Hemsworth. However, it seems the singer-actress may be working her man's last nerve with her latest set of antics that are innocent at first glance, but apparently pretty annoying in hindsight (or at least in Hemsworth's rearview mirror).
She notably skipped the Teen Choice Awards a few weeks ago to be in Philadelphia with her guy, allegedly putting her romantic relationship before work. However, The Hunger Games actor, who is currently filming Paranoia in the City of Brotherly Love, might have preferred if she had gone back to Los Angeles then and is apparently definitely ready to bid his girl adieu now.
"Miley is driving Liam crazy at the moment," revealed a source to Radar Online. "While he's on set, she gallivants around town shopping, getting pampered in nail salons and just can't sit still." No doubt she found a pilates studio, too, to work on her fitness!
While the 19-year-old Miley Cyrus could be faulted by the hard-working Liam Hemsworth, 22, for not pursuing her professional career at the moment, it seems that's not the rub here. What's really bugging him is maybe more of a case of immaturity, a party-hardy personality, and perhaps even some young-love neediness on the part of his fiancée. "She chews his ear off about her adventures," the source also said. "Miley wants to go to the local gay bars and hit up fancy restaurants, which Liam just isn't in the mood for... all Liam wants to do is rest, go through his script so he's ready for his role, and order a takeout or go for a quiet dinner."
It sounds like Hemsworth is dealing with some busy days on set, and he certainly cannot be blamed for wanting some peace and quiet—and the opportunity to focus on Paranoia. The source even said that he has suggested to Cyrus that she go home!
If all of this insider's claims are true, Cyrus may want to take the hint from Hemsworth and perhaps put into practice the old adage: "Distance makes the heart grow fonder." After all, it would be a shame not to see a Cyrus-Hemsworth wedding!
