Lauren Manzo recently underwent the lap band procedure to tackle the weight issues she had been dealing with since her childhood. She has lost a lot of weight and looks amazing and she's not ashamed that she resorted to surgery to shed the extra pounds.
"It makes me laugh when someone tweets me & says LAP BAND like its something that would make me upset - its not an insult - nor do I feel insulted," she tweeted. She later added, "If I were ashamed of the lap band I wouldn't have gotten it-so calling me Lauren lap band manzo isn't insulting."
The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter has had a few haters who seem to think she took the easy way out. However, she didn't just opt for surgery right away. She had tried several different programs that didn't work. Fortunately, Lauren had the means to try the surgery and it worked out great for her.
Lauren Manzo is happy and looks great. Who cares how it happened?
