Don't feel too bad for Bachelor Pad's Ed Swiderski. He may have just been betrayed by Sarah Newlon, who put him up for elimination right after hooking up with him, but he wasn't looking for love anyways. In a frank discussion with RumorFix, he admitted that he went into the show with a big ego and wanting to win and hook up with women rather than falling in love.

He holds no hard feelings toward Sarah Newlon since he was just having no strings attached fun with her anyways. "The situation was fun and Sarah is a great friend. I was clear to her about having someone at home [that I have a crush on]. But you're there to play the game and that [hooking up with fellow contestants] is part of it. I was definitely not there for love, I was there to win," he recently told RumorFix.
He also admitted that being on season five of The Bachelorette, where he won the hand of Jillian Harris, gave him a big ego.
Ed Swiderski's admissions are hardly shocking. Unlike The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, where the contestants still at least pretend that they're really in it for love, it's clear that Bachelor Pad is all about money and unrestricted fun. Still, he should be applauded for admitting that he let fame go to his head. That's something that some of the other contestants would probably continue to deny.
