Jennifer Lopez is reportedly very close to breaking up with her boy toy Casper Smart. The 43-year-old Lopez is finally figuring out that she doesn't have all that much in common with a 24-year-old. Why do you suppose it took so long to figure that out? It was more than plain to fans and those near and dear to her that Casper was much too young.
According to a report from RadarOnline, J Lo is starting to feel like Casper Smart's babysitter. And who wouldn't? Most women in their 40s look upon men in their 20s as children--sometimes even their own!
"Jen is currently on tour with Enrique Iglesias, and Casper is the head choreographer of her show in which he also dances. It's tough being on the road -- this isn't Jen's first tour and she has been feeling more like Casper's babysitter than girlfriend. Casper likes to hang out and party with the other dancers and that just isn't Jen's scene. She is all business and is the utmost professional. Jen is absolutely going to break up with him, they just don't have a long term future together," a source says.
It seems Jen fell for Casper Smart just a couple of months after splitting from hubby Marc Anthony. The 24-year-old served a purpose for a while--helping her get over her divorce--but now it certainly sounds like he's simply too much baggage.
Don't forget that J Lo has 4-year-old twins on tour with her, too. It's understandable she has to discipline them and watch out for them so they don't get hurt. After doing that while on tour, there's absolutely no way she wants to do that with a 24-year-old! Who would?
"Casper will most likely be sent packing when the tour ends in Miami. Jen admits that she fell for Casper and that he was exactly what she needed at the time to help get over her painful split with Marc, but she is just ready to move on now," the source says.
Is this surprising to anyone but Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart? Did practically everyone see the writing on the wall when the two got together last fall?
