Most American teens and tweens go weak at the knees for the five One Direction guys—Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik—not only for their good looks, but because of their British (and one Irish) accents! Well, it might surprise some Directioners to learn that Liam is a big fan of American accents!
Liam and the rest of the One Direction guys recently got to spend several weeks in the United States while on tour with their debut album Up All Night. The 1D guys got to hear a variety of American accents as they traveled from state to state performing their hit songs.
Liam Payne had a fan tweet him this message: "Wish I had a cool accent like @ Harry_Styles @ Real_Liam_Payne @ NiallOfficial @ zaynmalik @ Louis_Tomlinson :( Mines Juss American.):"
Liam responded: " @ KayleLuvsYou i loveee american accents :)"
This was Liam's way of saying that you should appreciate what you've got. It's normal to wish for something other than what you were born with, but it is important to realize that there is always someone else out there wishing for what you've actually got.
