Kristen Stewart's Twilight Saga co-star, Nikki Reed has apparently made a lot of Twihards mad as hell with a cryptic Tweet that seemed like a diss to KStew and her "betrayal" of Robert Pattinson. Ouch. Now Reed has responded to the angry fans and their accusations with—what else?—another tweet.
Reportedly, all the Twilight Saga cast members have been ordered to keep mum about the KStew/Rupert Sanders cheating scandal and its rumored devastating effects on Summit's golden goose—er—boy, Robert Pattinson. Nevertheless, a recent message posted on Nikki Reed's Twitter page seemed like a sly diss directed at the Snow White and the Huntsman star.
"To be trusted is a greater compliment than to be loved," Nikki wrote.
Many of Kristen's fans were outraged. And, although the tweet is actually pretty generic, it's easy to see how it could be misconstrued. So, on August 1, La Reed removed the offending tweet, and posted another message denying that the first one was a diss to anyone—least of all Kristen Stewart.
"Just took down my last retweet," wrote Nikki, "as I'm noticing that some of you are attempting to twist the most innocent message into whatever meaning you wanted it to have. Twi fans, please stop. It's such a waste of your time. I love all of you, regardless of how you choose to interpret and spin things. Thank you for your passion."
So, there you have it. Do you think Nikki Reed meant to diss La Stewart? It's possible. After all, rumor had it that Reed was romantically involved with Robert Pattinson before he fell head over heels in love with Kristen. Or was Reed's cryptic tweet about "love" and "trust" just a coincidence?
