Did Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson Fake Cheating Scandal?

Kristen Stewart has a lot of fiercely loyal fans who refuse to believe that she would cheat on Robert Pattinson with married director Rupert Sanders.

Since these Twihards think that there's no way that K-Stew could be so heartless, they've come up with an interesting conspiracy theory about the photographic evidence of Kristen's "momentary indiscretion."

According to Entertainmentwise, some fans seem to believe that the whole cheating scandal was faked. According to K-Stew-loving theorists, Rob knew that Kristen and Rupert's photos were staged. Since Robsten fans are only worried about the Twilight couple, they haven't said much about Rupert's wife Liberty Ross being in on the publicity stunt.

The only evidence that these fans have of their claims are photos that seemingly show Kristen and Rupert Sanders gazing directly into the camera lens during their little tryst. Here are a few tweets from Twihards:

"Those Kristen Stewart photos looked staged as heck. They planned this, all three of them."

"At times they look at the camera. Wouldn't be surprised if it was a publicity stunt."

Some people think that Robsten has been faked all along and that this was Rob and Kristen's way of finally ending their fauxmance now that the Twilight movies are through. After all, this did happen just a few short months before Breaking Dawn Part 2 hits theaters, and now fans will be extremely interested to see how Rob and Kristen interact at all the events they'll be forced to attend to together.

But while Twihards would love to believe that Robert Pattinson was in on this little stunt and that he's not heartbroken, sadly this probably isn't the case.

Rob always seemed to have very genuine feelings for Kristen, and it's a little farfetched to believe that the two of them would fake a romance for years just for the sake of their movies—the Twilight films didn't need their real-life relationship to be blockbusters. And why would Rob and Kristen fake a cheating scandal if they're still together? It makes Kristen look like a cold-hearted b**ch, and Rob would look like a sucker after pretending to take his girlfriend back. It's also hard to imagine Liberty Ross agreeing to such a ridiculous publicity stunt.

So why does it look like Kristen and Rupert are looking into the camera? There are cameras today with extremely high-powered lenses, so whoever took the photos of the couple was probably so far away that there was no way that Kristen and Rupert could see them. However, Kristen and Rupert were in public and knew that what they were doing was wrong, so both of them were probably glanced around for prying eyes occasionally. It was just a coincidence that they looked in the direction of the camera.

Think of it this way: if photos of Kristen and Rupert were carefully planned and posed to be "leaked," then why would the photos from the batch that look the most staged be released?
