Kristen Stewart may or may not have "driven a stake through Robert Pattinson's heart" by making out with Rupert Sanders in front of the paparazzi's ever-present cameras. However, she certainly dumped her married lover in a rather harsh way. She sent him a text. Ouch.
"After that day she texted Rupert that she never wanted to do that again because she feared being caught and that things were too intense," tattled one of KStew's friends. "She knew she did wrong, but realized how those photos would rip out Rob's heart. She has been in floods of tears since."
According to the source, Kristen never had any intention of breaking up with Robert Pattinson, and Rupert Sanders had no intention of leaving his wife and kids. Looks like KStew tried to end the affair with Sanders before the press got wind of it, but she was a little too late. Sometimes pooh happens.
Oh, well, Rupert Sanders can take consolation in the fact that he's in good company. Plenty of other celebrity romances have ended exactly the same way. John Mayer gave Jennifer Aniston the boot via text. Britney Spears notified Kevin Federline of divorce proceedings the same way. Ditto for Kim Kardashian and Charlie Sheen who were abandoned by Reggie Bush and Bree Olsen respectively. Perhaps the shortest and coldest break-up text was the one Adam Levine sent Jessica Simpson. It read: "Really busy. Need space."
Of course, dumped is dumped. Does the manner really matter?
