Kristen Stewart's "momentary indiscretion" is going to be the subject of analysis until the actress decides to offer an explanation for cheating on Robert Pattinson.
Since this might not ever happen, that means that Twihards will spend the rest of forever speculating about why Bella ruined spendin
g forever with Edward.
Hollywood Life has taken this sad speculation one step further by getting an expert to weigh in on why Kristen might have cheated. Psychotherapist Dr. Gilda Carle is trying to help Twihards take that first step towards recovery by helping them to understand why K-Stew did what she did. At least Hollywood Life says that Dr. Carle was the doctor who diagnosed Kristen's troubled mind at first, but then the webloid changes the identity of the doctor by writing this:
"'Kristen could have been fearful of commitment to Rob,' says. Dr. Ludwig. 'And that could be why she self-sabotaged and she wanted to be caught.'"
The rest of the report refers to expert as Dr. Ludwig.
Ludwig/Carle or whoever goes on to say that Kristen Stewart might have been "exploring and learning" about herself because the 20s are the appropriate time to explore. However, there are tons of teens and 20-somethings out there who will argue that they wouldn't ever consider cheating on their boyfriend, and they definitely can't believe that Kristen was stupid enough to cheat on Robert Pattinson (and in broad daylight, too).
There's also the excuse that Rupert Sanders was seductive—Twihards probably love this one because it seems to place more of the blame on the man involved. Then there's this gem:
"Movie sets are like summer camp. Kristen might have felt like she was stepping out of real life."
So it's evidently okay to cheat at summer camp because it doesn't feel like real life? To be fair, this does make a bit of sense. Kristen could have confused reality and fantasy since she and Rob played a couple in a movie and dated in real life. However, the general consensus seems to be that K-Stew and Rupert started their little "affair" long after Snow White and the Huntsman was finished filming. So the movie set explanation doesn't really work.
This explanation makes the most sense:
"Part of the excitement is doing something forbidden."
There was an interview in which K-Stew talks about being bored with her life, so perhaps this was her way of making it more exciting. Bella's forbidden fruit was a vampire, and K-Stew's was an older, married director. It's great that Kristen didn't look for excitement by drinking all the time and doing drugs, but her cheap thrill hurt a lot of people.
So why do you think that she cheated?
