Like the majority of people all over the world, One Direction's Harry Styles and Liam Payne have been keeping up with the Olympics and cheering on their country's Olympic athletes. Both Harry and Liam have watched as Great Britain has accomplished some extraordinary Olympic results. Being that the games this year are in London, the excitement from the crowd has been electrifying.
Liam Payne is certainly proud of his country's Olympic athletes. Payne said, "Team GB are doing amazinnggg in the olympics!"
Many expect for the athletes themselves to be nervous in competition. While this can certainly be true, the athletes are often more focused than nervous. It can actually be the spectators who have more of the nerves, though that sounds funny. Liam found himself a bit nervous watching the 100 meter dash and said, "100m im soo excited sooo buzzing im nervous i never get nervous whats goin onn!!!!"
Harry Styles gave a shout out to two of Great Britain's Olympic athletes on Twitter: "Congratulations to @J_Ennis and Mo Farah!! You heroes!!"
The 2012 Olympic games aren't over yet. There are still more medals to come!
