World-famous DJ Paul van Dyk is jumping on the anti-Madonna bandwagon. Joining Elton John is criticizing the Queen of Pop, he recently told a German news service during an interview that she should have stopped making music more than a decade ago and that he wouldn't work with her.
"I think she should have quit after her good Ray of Light album (in 1998)," he said.
Not only does the DJ, who has remixed songs for entertainers such as Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Depeche Mode, think that the singer is past her prime, he wouldn't even work with her right now if given the chance.
"I have remixed a few of her songs but in general I only work with people who inspire me and Madonna right now doesn't," he replied when asked if he would like to work with her.
DJ Paul van Dyk better hope that he never needs a favor from her. Even if her music sales aren't what they used to be and she's been criticized more by fans for poor live performances, she still holds a lot of influence in the music industry. She's bounced back before and she can do it again.
