Sex and the City alum Kristin Davis - best known for her role as the super-together, WASP-y Charlotte York-Goldenblatt) - has her days and nights filled to the brim while balancing motherhood and a Broadway career.
So how does she do it all, especially as a single mom to daughter Gemma Rose, who she adopted last year? The answer lies in the flexibility of her career, Davis explains.
"The show is at night most of the days, so I spend all morning and all day with her then I go do the show at night," Davis said recently in an interview, adding, "It's actually [a] really great schedule for a mom. I'm able to be with her and have a job, which is rare and wonderful."
Surely there is a nanny or some other sort of household help that goes into this equation worth thanking as well!
Even so, Kristin Davis has joined the ranks of mothers with increasingly flexible and unconventional schedules that have found a way to make parenting full-time and working full-time an option - a great choice for anyone able to find a situation that works for them, such as Davis's role on Broadway in The Best Man.
What do you think of the arrangement? If you're a mother, would this type of full-time parent, full-time work arrangement be something you would want, or would it be too overwhelming?
