Kate Middleton has been very busy over the past couple of weeks as she supports her country at one Olympics event after another. She has been in full-on royal recycler mode proving she truly is the Discount Duchess. Despite her willingness to be frugal, she still wants to look good. She knows her picture is going to be taken no less than a 100 times and her every piece of clothing, and each accessory is going to be dissected and imitated.
It would never do for the Duchess to wear the exact same outfit to two different events on the same day. If she is spotted in public more than once a day, she is expected to wear something different each time. How ludicrous! Apparently, Kate is feeling the strain and is reportedly "stressed" at the idea of changing five times a day.
Supposedly, it is some unwritten royal protocol that the Duchess must change her outfits frequently. While the idea of five wardrobe changes a day is ridiculous, has Kate ever actually done so? It sounds as if this is blown a bit out of proportion. Yes, she would need to change out of her daytime casual clothes for a swanky evening event, but doesn't everybody? Different events have different dress codes.
No matter what, Kate Middleton always manages to look well put together.
