Following in the footsteps of fellow reality TV star Kate Gosselin, Taylor Armstrong has signed up to host a cruise. Hopefully, she gets enough turnout so that it doesn't get canceled. According to Wetpaint Entertainment, she'll be hosting a Mexican Riviera cruise that's focused on mind, body, and emotional fitness.
What will the Holland America week-long cruise, called the "Living Well and Loving It!" tour and set to depart March 2, 2013 from San Diego, consist of? Besides the usual cruise activities of sunbathing, eating, drinking, swimming, and relaxing, passengers will also get the chance to participate in wellness workshops and, of course, rub elbows with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star. Passengers will also get to meet her therapist, Dr. Sophy, and her daughter Kennedy.
The Housewife, who says that she's "really looking forward to creating a positive environment for people," decided to do a cruise because she "just thought it would be such a cool way to interact with people and [she] absolutely love[s] Mexico."
"I'm guessing mostly Housewives fans, people who have taken that journey with us. We scheduled it around spring break, so hopefully that means families will be able to come. The response we've gotten so far has been terrific, so hopefully a lot more people will join us," she replied when asked who she expects will go on the cruise.
Considering that much of Taylor Armstrong's storyline on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been dark, what with Russell Armstrong's suicide, her reported domestic violence at his hands and excessive drinking, she's hardly the first person that comes to mind when thinking about health and wellness. Apparently, the cruise's executives think otherwise. It'll certainly be interesting to see whether fans of the show will fork over the money to spend a week with her.
