It's a done deal. One Direction fans will be thrilled to learn that Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan will definitely be playing at the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremonies on Sunday August 12th.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, 1D will be in good company while performing at the closing ceremonies. George Michael, The Spice Girls, Jessie J and even The Who are all scheduled to play, too.
It was rumored
for quite a while that Harry Styles and the gang were among those on the Olympics closing ceremonies roster, but it was nothing more than conjecture--at least then. Now it's officially confirmed and fans are no doubt very excited.
Even those who aren't huge Olympic fans will likely tune in to see the incredible line up of talent slated for the closing ceremonies. And One Direction may even draw a significantly younger fans than many who have spent the past two weeks viewing the games.
