Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart may not be kaput after all. The Twilight heart-throb's friends say he's pretty much worked through his anger, and he's actually considering taking KStew back.
According to new reports, Rob has cooled down a lot since the early days of the cheating scandal and he's "even contemplating a reconciliation." Although, the reconciliation plans are still very much in the amorphous stage, the consensus among Pattinson insiders is that now that he's more calm, he actually seems open to the idea of giving his errant lady-love another chance.
"Rob was super angry for the first couple of weeks," reveals an inside source. "Angry at Kristen for ruining what they had, angry at her for the public embarrassment, angry at Rupert [Sanders]. But he's starting to wind down and really think about what he's going to do regarding his relationship with Kristen. He goes back and forth..."
Of course not everyone on Team Robert agrees. Some of Rob's friends think he should proceed with plans to kick the errant Snow White and the Huntsman star to the curb. Others, not so much.
"There's definitely some friends who think he should just move on from Kristen," the insider continued, "but then there are others who still think Rob and Kristen really have a special connection and want him to give her another chance. He has a lot to think about..."
That is the understatement of the century. Unfortunately, one of the things he may find himself wondering is what his fans will say if he and KStew reconcile. Many will be happy that he's happy. Alas, others will no doubt be livid. The question is: Will he care? Will he be influenced by their speculation, or will he be his own man and make the decision that he considers best for him?
Who knows? The final decision must be his and his alone, and no one can help him with it. However, one thing is certain. The Cosmopolis man won't discuss his plans for reconciling with La Stewart or the lack thereof during his appearances on The Daily Show and Good Morning America next week. In fact according to the insider, it seems he's almost dreading the interviews.
"Rob's always been a bit of an awkward nervous guy," opines the source. "but his appearances in New York next week have him frazzled. He's keen on promoting his new movie, but he really doesn't want to address his personal life or the cheating scandal because he's just not ready yet and doesn't want to say anything he'd regret."
Best of luck to Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and all concerned.
