Chris Brown and Rihanna are disappointing their diehard fans by not announcing a formal reconciliation, and it sounds like that disappointment may linger, too. Although the two talk and hook up frequently, it seems they have no intentions of going public with their relationship.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, not only do fans see Rihanna and Breezy communicating via Twitter and during their rendezvous in St. Tropez—now a close friend of Chris's confirms what they've surmised was going on—with one slight caveat. 
"I guess they just don't want all the press in [their] business. They need some privacy, too...I know some of the boys [are] pushing Chris to just go ahead and make [it] official with Rihanna but he [won't budge.]" the friend explains.
The friend acknowledges (quite eloquently, too) some of what fans have suspected all along.
"[Their] relationship is what it is. They talk when they talk. They hook up when they hook up...They are two grown...people and can do whatever the f*** they want," the friend says. "She was with Chris last month on St. Tropez. They saw each other several times," our source claims. "They like each other and that [isn't ever going to] stop. Trust me...[they're] together, but in [their] own way."
So there you have the scoop, straight from a highly educated member of Chris Brown's posse. Hopefully before this friend speaks out on Chris and Rihanna's behalf again, he will consider at least a primer in public speaking.
Alas this is à propos in the world that is Breezy and RiRi. Fans wouldn't want it any other way. And while it might be nice to hear what this same friend says regarding Chris and Karrueche Tran and how that relationship affects Chris and Rihanna's, it's best to save that question for another day. It might seriously tax the friend's rich resource of vocabulary words.
