Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were Hollywood's golden couple. Now they may be Tinseltown's currently most tarnished twosome. They are dealing with a pretty messy situation that may take a while to clean up, as their fairy-tale-like love story has taken a turn for the not-so-happily ever after, ever since those photos surfaced of Stewart getting way too personal with Rupert Sanders, her Snow White and the Huntsman director.
But this is show business, and as it is said, the show must go on. While Stewart has reportedly dropped out of her next film, Cali, Pattinson has already booked a number of solo public appearances in the next week or so, plus he has plenty of red-carpet promotion to do for his new movie, Cosmopolis. And looming ahead for both Twilight stars is the premiere of the vampire series' final installment, Breaking Dawn-Part 2.
So what will be the most awkward PA for Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson? Hollywood Life has provided a list of prospects.
Pattinson's upcoming August 13th date on The Daily Show could hold the promise of plenty of problematic and tricky moments. It's really the first personal interview of either star since news of the cheating scandal broke. And Jon Stewart may have a no-holds-barred barrage of questions in store for the British hunk, all tinged with a comedic spin—which could be a good thing or it could lead to some clumsy, tongue-tied responses from R-Patz.
That same day, Pattinson has plans to attend the New York City debut of Cosmopolis. Talk about a double whammy! He may face a bombardment of personal questions from the press line, but after The Daily Show, perhaps he'll have his answers rehearsed enough to not feel the heat.

Then, on August 15, the heart-throb actor heads to Good Morning America for an interview that is rumored to be sans limits and without any banned topics. Things may get interesting—and DVR-worthy—although it's probably safe to say he won't pull a Chris Brown.
While all of these appearances should be telling, the most uncomfortable of moments will undoubtedly come with the couple's (or ex-couple's) scheduled screen time together. As Hollywood Life confirms, they're both slated to be at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles in early September and, of course, they have all the Breaking Dawn hoopla to look forward to come November. Awkward!
Will they kiss and make up for real, or stay together just for the cameras until their Twilight zone is finally over, or will they break up and walk down the MTV VMA and the B.D. premiere red carpets separately?
