Adam Lambert is now in Japan and spent some of his free time on Sunday getting inked! In the early morning (US time) he randomly tweeted, "Musica Delenit Bestiam Feram." As fans woke up, they scrambled to look up the meaning of the Latin phrase, learning that it means "Music Soothes the Savage Beast." A few hours later, @adamlambertJP tweeted photos of him getting the tattoo and then Adam tweeted a photo of the fina product, which covers his left forearm. The quote comes from a play by William Congreve called "The Mourning Bride."
This is Adam's fifth tattoo. On his right arm he has an Eye of Horus image, an infinity sign and a skeleton key, which is based on a painting by Hans Haveron. Adam's fourth tattoo is on his hand and says "OOFTA." He and boyfriend Sauli Koskinen got matching OOFTA tattoos, which Adam said represents an inside joke between the pair, but basically means 'oy' or 'oh my gosh' or 'whoa.'
Not only does Adam have new ink, but he also made headlines earlier this week when he dyed his hair blond. You never know what he is going to do next to change his look!
What do you think of Adam's latest tattoo?
