One Direction rolled in to their performance at the Olympics closing ceremonies on the back of a flat bed. From that point through their stage performance, everyone in the crowd was totally engrossed in hearing Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne sing What Makes You Beautiful.
The live stream of the performance took place at about 4:40 PM ET and will of course be replayed tonight by NBC. In case you missed it, just tune in at 7PM on your local NBC station.
Can you imagine what a huge honor this must have been for the One Direction guys to play in what is 'home' for most of them? To help close the 2012 Olympics amidst the fanfare and excitement may very well become the highlight of these five singers' lives.
Congrats are certainly in order for Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne on their fantastic performance at the Olympics closing ceremony. They certainly did their country (everyone but Niall is from England) and their fans proud!
