Days of Our Lives actor John Aniston was shocked to learn of his daughter Jennifer Aniston's engagement to Justin Theroux. Justin Theroux proposed to Aniston on the set of her upcoming film We're the Millers on Friday.
According to a report from Celebuzz, it's clear that Justin didn't ask John Aniston for his daughter's hand in marriage.
"It's the first
I've heard about it," the 79-year-old Days actor, who plays the role of Victor Kiriakis, said. "It's a surprise to me. I'll have to look online. When I find out more, I guess I'll tell you!"
Although shocked, Aniston seemed genuinely pleased when a Celebuzz reporter informed him that the engagement had in fact been confirmed by a rep for both Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux. It seems Justin had a very happy birthday on Friday because his proposal was answered with a "yes."
"It sounds very romantic," the Days of Our Lives actor said.
Does it surprise you that John Aniston wasn't at the very least one of the first people to hear about Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux's engagement--at least before it was leaked to the media? Do you suppose the actor's feelings are just a little bit hurt at being kept out of the loop?

She is not close to her own family. She is clearly ashamed of them and doesn't like associating with them any more than absolutely necessary. She is a very, very cold person and doesn't understand nor appreciate the concept of a family, hence why she didn't want a family with Brad and chose a career instead.
I wouldn't expect any less from this cold-blooded heartless reptile. I feel very sorry for her mother, her father and her brother.
