Insane Clown Posse followers are now considered gang members by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, but the rap group will sue the FBI to reclaim the good name of their fans.
Now, this story sounds completely ludicrous, but it's true. The "Juggalos" were placed on a gang watch list by the FBI last year. But, ICP should be lauded for fighting back, and not taking this injustice lying down.
"You're trying to grow love in your country and s***. Then the head of your country—the FBI—just turns around and f****** kicks you in the nuts," rapper Shaggy 2 Dope said in an interview.
"I hope that enough pressure goes on the FBI and enough bigwigs take our side in this and actually say, 'Look, (it doesn't matter) who they are, it's still f***** up what's happening to them,'" added fellow Insane Clown Posse member Violent J.
Now, the public isn't privy to everything the FBI knows about the Juggalos. Perhaps there are "sets" of Juggalo fans who have gang affiliations.
But, it's totally unfair to paint all ICP fans with the same broad brush. It's not the Insane Clown Posse's fault if thugs are using their name to commit criminal acts. There are going to be bad apples in any group of people. Why should everyone be tainted with gang affiliation?
