Rosamund Pike in London, Jessica Chastain in NYC: Red Carpet Style

A pair of premieres took place on August 13. In New York City, Jessica Chastain came out for her latest film Lawless. Across the pond, Rosamund Pike joined Pippa Middleton at the premiere of Shadow Dancer starring Clive Owen.

Oscar nominated actress Jessica Chastain posed with her co-stars Shia LaBeouf and Dane DeHaan at the Cinema Society and Manifesto Yves Saint Laurent screening of Lawless. Fittingly, Jessica wore a vintage Yves Saint Laurent frock from Decades, as noted by The Fashion Court. Jessica looked as if she was enjoying her moment in the beribboned black dress with its over-the-top ruffles. Silhouettes and necklines always seem to be a struggle for Jessica, and this was still the case at the Lawless screening. The dress was simply too overwhelming on the actress. She did complete her look with eye-catching Tom Binns bracelets and a fun hairstyle.

Rosamund Pike picked one of Marios Schwab's signature looks for the premiere of Shadow Dancer -- a solid color underneath a layer of fine mesh with visible darts. Too bad Rosamund didn't play up that strong, sexy outfit. Instead, she completed her look with a casual hairstyle and heavy, ankle-strap heels.
