It seems adorable Kristin Chenoweth's injuries from an accident on set of The Good Wife are more serious than originally believed. Because of them, the tiny blonde won't finish her guest starring role as planned.
The accident wasn't necessarily the fault of show management. A large gust of wind simply caught a piece of lighting equipment and sent it falling to the ground, hitting Chenoweth who was unfortunately in its pathway.
Although everyone said the petite blonde would be okay, obviously some after effects have occurred that are slowing down that prognosis. Chenoweth had this to say, "It is with deep regret (I) inform everyone that due to my injuries, I am unable to return to The Good Wife." She went on to say she is getting better, but the process is taking longer than she'd hoped. The former star of ABC's GCB went on to thank everyone for their concern.
CBS has offered the tiny beauty a return engagement in the future, if she wants it. Considering how excited Chenoweth was about being on the show, that seems a foregone conclusion.
Unfortunately, Chenoweth has endured a great deal of pain as a result of her injury. On August 8th she offered this via Twitter, "Today not best 'pain' day. Remaining positive (I think)." Earlier Kristin Tweeted how happy she was to still be alive after the accident. Given her small frame and the size of the lighting equipment, her fans definitely agree.
Here's hoping Kristin Chenoweth is back up and acting soon. She lights up a stage when she's on it.
