Jenelle Evans previously signed custody over to her mother so that she could get her life on the right track. Now that she's stabilizing her life, she is ready to pursue full custody of three-year-old Jace -- but she's not just going to file and then take him away from her mother.
Jenelle explained, "I can't just take jace away one day completely. He will be traumatized. He needs to start staying the weekends then so on.." Jenelle will do what she can to regain custody but keep Jace's best interest at heart.
Plus, it will be an adjustment for Jenelle to have her son full-time, so it's better for everyone if they take things slow. Currently, Jenelle's home is ready for Jace. He'll even have his own bedroom and bathroom which she designed just for him. However, Jenelle plans on buying a home soon so he'll have even more space at their new pad.
