Robert Pattinson had a pretty good yesterday as he greeted fans and made his first public appearances since he was humiliated by Kristen Stewart. Fans waited for hours, some even days, to get a glimpse of the actor as he showed up to the Cosmopolis première.
Not all of his receptions were quite as friendly. Fans and a horde of paparazzi waited outside a closed garage in the hopes of meeting the star on Monday. Security kept the throng of camera-wielding people at bay as a black Yukon slowly made its way down the street. Two burly security guards sat up front, while Rob was hidden in the back by the dark tinted windows.
Fans started screaming his name, but of course, there always has to be a couple of jerks in the crowd who felt the need to shout "Team Kristen." One guy even held up an itty-bitty card with the words Team Kristen printed on it. Really? That was the best you could do? At least put a little effort into it. Why would people stand around for hours if they didn't like the guy?
As the SUV pulled into the garage, a cacophony of boos broke out and a whole lot of foul language was tossed around as people expressed their disgust with Rob. Thankfully, there were at least two level-headed girls in the crowd who were disappointed they didn't get to see Robert Pattinson, but understanding. The young ladies asked a good question, "With these people yelling team Kristen, why would he want to come out?" Exactly. Certainly not the way to make the guy feel comfortable.
