In an interview at the Cosmopolis NYC première, Robert Pattinson dished on what seems to be one of his favorite subjects--sex scenes in movies. That train of thought lead to a discussion of porn, and whether or not he would ever do an adult film. His answer was typically equivocal.
According to sources, while the Twilight heart-throb isn't afraid "to act out a steamy sex scene on the silver screen,...he would never actually make it his real job." Obviously not. Porn performers, and porn producers for that matter, make adult films to make a profit. Money is the one thing RPattz doesn't need. And although, Kristen Stewart's apparent ex(?) has appeared in many steamy, simulated sexual scenes on-screen with a variety of women including, Juliette Binoche, Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman, Kristin Scott Thomas, and, yes, Kristen Stewart, he claims he would never commit the unpardonable sin of doing real porn
"I mean it depends who the director is," Rob explained. "...it depends what the reason is for it, I wouldn't be particularly comfortable doing straight up porn."
He then went on to opine that the famous limo sex scenes in Cosmopolis were more "complicated." Whatever that means.
So there you have it. Or not. Perhaps Rob should define his terms more accurately. What exactly is "straight up porn?" Is it full frontal nudity? That's been done by truly great actors like Alan Bates and Oliver Reed in the classic film, Women in Love. Even Marlon Brando came close to porn in Last Tango in Paris. Or does he mean kinky shenanigans like the sex scenes which will no doubt take up most of the movie version of the mommy porn novel, Fifty Shades of Grey?
Oh well, it seems horny--er--adoring Robert Pattinson fans will have to make do with ogling their idol in the softer sex scenes he's already done and rely on their own imaginations for the lurid details.
