Robert Pattinson wants to get far away from the Kristen Stewart cheating scandal and the nasty breakup that followed. But he's not just hopping a plane to anywhere for a relaxing few weeks on a deserted island -- he's heading down under! Rob is apparently planning on heading to Australia soon, to start shooting a new movie. This sounds like the perfect way to get over KStew and her sleazy ways.
According to the New York Post's Page Six, Pattinson has signed on to star in the indie movie The Rover, which will film in Australia. Yes, it's a potentially great role for Robert Pattinson, but there's little doubt that he's also hip on getting as far away from Kristen Stewart and the entire mess. Immersing himself in his work might be just what he needs. 
A source tells Page Six that "Rob wants to get away for a while, and is looking forward to filming in the desert in Australia," adding, "He needs some space." Short of joining the Mars rover, this is about as far away as he can get. Good move, RPatz, good move. It's not really running away for Pattinson, so much as it's just leaving behind some seriously painful, constant reminders of what might have been.
