Vinny Guadagnino and the cast of Jersey Shore are preparing for their sixth season premiere in early October. Fans of the show are used to seeing a drunk bunch of kids making bad choices, but the upcoming season has a few changes in store -- and they are pretty drastic.
For starters, Snooki is pregnant and sober and The Situation is just sober. That's right, two of the hardest partying roommates aren't going to be drinking at all. In fact, as Vinny reveals, Snooki was prepping for motherhood during the month and a half that they were filming. "Snooki was the healthiest out of everybody," Vinny told OK! Magazine. "I never knew what it was like living with a pregnant girl, but she was the most in shape out of everybody, because she was so healthy."
Snooki has sure come a long way since season 1. When fans first met her, she was on the heavy side and drank way too much -- she even was once arrested while filming.
Vinny also explains that although Snooki and The Situation weren't drinking, "everything else was the same, they're the same people." So fans of Jersey Shore need not worry. It's still going to be just as entertaining regardless of who is drunk and who isn't.
Plus, with five seasons of the cast partying and fighting about the same things, the show could use the change.
