Now that Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are engaged, until they actually get married, the tabloids are going to have a field day speculating about the wedding, the wedding dress, the guest list, whether she's a pregnant bride, etc. A lot of that information is obviously going to be untrue -- and that's just the way Jennifer has planned it.
According to Fox News, Jennifer plans to start giving her friends false information in order to discover who in her inner circle is selling her out to the tabloids.
"A lot of celebrities do it, it's all a game to find out who is doing the betraying," an "insider" tells the website. "It's common for a lot of celebrities to do this."
Uh, maybe, if this is true, she shouldn't be advertising that she's planning on doing this? Just a thought.
Jennifer's been a tabloid staple since Friends debuted 18 years (!) ago, so she should be used to all the crazy fake stories by now. If tabloid BS bothered her, why hasn't she done this before now, so she could see who was leaking info about her past relationships and "feud" with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt? Maybe she feels differently now that she's actually planning a wedding and wants some privacy? For what it's worth, Jennifer's rep denies Fox News' report, calling it "absurd and completely false," but her people jump all over everything that is potentially unflattering to her, so a denial doesn't necessarily mean anything. Who knows if this report is actually true, but if it is, hopefully she has a spreadsheet or something to keep track of what fake information she's given to which person.
What do you think? Is Jennifer Aniston feeding her friends false info to see who's selling her out to the tabloids? When do you think she and Justin Theroux will marry? Sound off in the comments!
