Kim Kardashian may have wanted a fairy tale wedding—and that's what she got—but the fairy tale was short-lived for everyone involved.
Apparently, it wasn't just Kim and Kris Humphries who were having a bought of bad luck after the couple called off their 72-day marriage. It's being reported that the man who let Kim use his gorgeous mansion for her nuptials is also feeling the effects of the divorce.
Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt usually rents out his amazing mansion in California for celebrity weddings and events, but since Kimmie K stepped foot in there and then ditched her husband weeks later, it seems that no one wants to take a chance in getting hitched in the place.
"Before Kim, the home was often used in the Summer months as a place where the rich could hold their private weddings—but now couples are shunning the estate because they think the place is jinxed," said a source. Now, real celebs (not reality stars or others with no talent) seem to think that getting married at the same place as Kim did is "tacky."
Even though the mansion is absolutely stunning and would be a great place to be married, it appears that people think it's cursed or jinxed or will just bring them bad luck.
Do you think that people are being sensible about this? After all, Kim Kardashian didn't exactly go into the marriage with the best of intentions to begin with, so no matter where she was married, it would have been the same outcome.
Would you want to marry your future partner at a place where one once happy couple ended up divorced?
