Robert Pattinson recently rented a super-pricey suite in the same New York City luxury hotel where he used to stay with Kristen Stewart. Was he feeling nostalgic or just masochistic? Or has he already managed to erase the KStew-saturated parts of his past from his memory?
RPattz checked into a suite at Manhattan's Mandarin Oriental Hotel where he will stay for the duration of his New York promotional work for his new film, Cosmopolis. According to Hollywood Life, the Twilight heart-throb "most likely stayed in the Presidential Suite which costs $20,664 per night with a two night minimum." Rob sojourned there for five nights thereby spending more than $100,000. The Mandarin Oriental Hotel overlooks Central Park, and from his palatial suite on the 53rd floor, Rob is no doubt enjoying palatial views. The suite also boasts a "dining room, kitchen, and an amazing bathroom." Cool.
Of course, what might not be so cool is that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart used to stay at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel when they visited New York. So it's interesting that the Cosmopolis star would choose to stay there during his promotional tour. Considering the circumstances of Robsten's break-up, one would think he'd avoid all reminders of La Stewart like the plague. Or not. Maybe he's just feeling nostalgic about the past. Or maybe he wants to be constantly reminded of his "betrayal" so he won't be tempted to reconcile. Whatever. The beat goes on. Stay tuned.
