Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson reportedly won't attend the final Twilight convention, scheduled for November 3rd and 4th in Burbank, California. Fans will likely be sorely disappointed to learn this. After all Rob and Kristen are Twilight.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, The Twilight Saga Official Convention recently posted updates about the convention, called The Final Journey, and issued a statement announcing that Rob and Kristen won't be in attendance.
"They say all good things must come to an end and so it is with our three-year long The Twilight Saga: Official Convention Tour which has visited cities across The United States and Canada. Along the way we've met tens of thousands of fantastic fellow fans and it has been a particular joy celebrating the unprecedented success of the films and novels and working with so many talented and gracious stars. The passion and dedication of Twilight fandom has been amazing and we're out to throw one last giant convention, a final gathering to see old friends that have made up the Twilight family," the statement reads.
And before you say, 'Well, at least Taylor Lautner will be there,' he won't. Lautner, along with Rob and Kristen, were the original nucleus of Twilight. Why bother attending if none of them will be there?
"Although Rob, Kristen and Taylor will not be with us this time out we will have a super line-up of other Twilight stars and the weekend will be filled with special events, movie prop and costume displays, contests, panels, auctions, parties, exclusive merchandise, music and much more, including some surprises!" the statement adds.
Would you show up for a Twilight convention that didn't feature at least one of the Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner trio?
Rob and Kristen have a good excuse for not showing up—although many feel that even though she cheated on Rob with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders that they still owe an appearance to their fans. But what's Taylor Lautner's reason for staying away? Is he, too, ditching the whole Twilight franchise before it even officially comes to an end?
Come on, guys. This isn't a very good way to end such a successful box office run and huge convention calling!

Kristen, forgive yourself and all who have hurt you. You are worthy of love!
I think comments and media coverage such as this are way out of line. You continue to show pictures of the event, old story lines, and repeating the events; hoping to stir the public, and continuing to hurt them all. If you want to give a story, give facts, not fiction, stop rehashing and linking to the event. Stop everything and let them all heal. Take down your old stories, pictures and fan comments so they can't be found if you really care about their wellbeing. Oh, I forgot, you're in this for the money. You don't really care about their health and wellbeing. You’re just pretending you care. Ooops, my bad!
All you selfish, perfect, and judgmental people that can't seem to do anything but point fingers and sling hate, jealousy, viciousness and ridicule, forget the people directly involved in this scandal! My heart is so heavy with sadness and pain for you all. "He, who hath no sin, cast the first stone." I am not a bible thumper but there is such a thing as basic human compassion. Where is your compassion, for the pain EVERYONE is in, including your own? Not only are you intentionally hurting "ALL" the people involved, don't you realize you are hurting yourselves and those reading your comments? (Robert Pattinson included...I am sure your hateful comments hurt him because you are hurting someone he cares very deeply for, even if you don't think so, he does! You are not helping him; you are hurting him as much as you hurt everyone else.) What has Kristen Stewart or Robert Pattinson done to you to deserve the hurt you have caused them by feeding into a frenzy of hatred, jealousy, disrespect, viciousness, and anger that does not belong to you? They have given you all that they can and what you wanted, entertained you. Is this how you repay them? Where is love, compassion, understanding and forgiveness? This is not support. Your vicious, hateful, jealous comments prove you are no better than those you point your fingers towards. You are being just as selfish, by not caring that you are hurting people just because you want to vent. Your words hurt just as much as anything Kristen has done, if not more, shame on all of you. If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. I have one SERIOUS question for all of you:
"Will you hold yourselves unaccountable for your actions; shrug your cold, hateful shoulders, especially, if any one of these people are...so fragile...that they can't deal with their own guilt compounded by your harsh crassness and end up dead?"
Tread lightly, please, for their sakes, and yours, because there is no excuse for this wickedness. Two wrongs don't make it right, nor, do billions of wrongs. Do not underestimate the power of your words, they can heal and destroy. Please choose to help everyone heal.
