Kristen Stewart is really good at attracting the attention of older men. First 41-year-old Rupert Sanders cheated on his wife to be with the actress, and now 50-year-old D. B. Sweeney is letting everyone know how happy he is that K-Stew and Robert Pattinson might be over.
According to Radar Online, The Cutting Edge actor found himself involved in a Twitter war with Twihards when he tweeted this:
Just saw Pattinson on #DailyShow trying to figure out what took K-Stew so long to look around with this douche astride her. #holytwit.
Kristen might be glad to have someone besides Jodie Foster on her side, but attacking the guy that she cheated on probably isn't the best way to support the humiliated actress. This is how D. B. Sweeney responded to all of the angry tweets he inevitably received from Rob's fans:
Nice language twi-hards. Or should I say tards? Love the inchoate indignation.
Wow, that was a really mature response for a 50-year-old. Using the shortened version of the R-word doesn't make it any less offensive.
So why is Sweeney coming to Kristen Stewart's defense by saying that she's right for cheating on Rob? Is it because she has demonstrated that she has a thing for older men? And does he think that white-knighting the actress is a good way to impress her? It's always possible, but it could also have something to do with Sweeney starring in the movie K-11, which was written and directed by Kristen's mother, Jules Stewart. Perhaps Sweeney simply attacked Robert Pattinson because he's become close to Kristen through her mom.
But poking fun at Rob's demeanor during his first interview after finding out that Kristen cheated on him certainly doesn't make what K-Stew did right, and it doesn't make Kristen look any better. If anything, Sweeney is probably making fans feel worse for Rob. Someone who calls teenage girls "tards" is definitely not someone that K-Stew should want on her side.
And Kristen and Rob do end up staying together after all of this, then Kristen will not be happy about what Sweeney said about her boyfriend.
So what do you think of Sweeney's tweets?
