Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeRossi married four years ago and on Saturday celebrated their anniversary with a casual, star-studded barbecue bash.
According to a report from RadarOnline, Ellen and Portia were married during the short window of opportunity that allowed same-sex couples to wed under state law. 
Some of the distinguished guests at the anniversary party included Katy Perry. She didn't bring along John Mayer. Gwen Stefani was there, and Michelle Williams was, too.
Ellen will soon celebrate something else once the excitement of her and Portia's fourth anniversary wanes. With the premiere of the fall season of Ellen, she will celebrate the tenth anniversary of the show.
Ellen's very first guest when the show first aired was Jennifer Aniston, and she will be the very first guest to help Ellen kick off her tenth season. She'll hopefully dish about her engagement to Justin Theroux, and will likely receive some marital advice from Ellen, too.
Congratulations to Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeRossi on their fourth wedding anniversary and congrats to Ellen, too, on the impending tenth season of her incredible show.
