Weezy and the Big Apple just don't mix.
After the Young Money CEO performed in a concert with fellow label mates Drake and Nicki Minaj in New York City, he sat down for an interview to talk about his troubled problems he's had with NYC. Just over the past couple of years, Lil Wayne has been arrested and put in prison in New York, his label "Queen" Nicki Minaj was dissed at a concert hosted by a New York radio station and much more.

In a recent interview, Wayne sat down and told the viewing audience: "Flat out, I don't like New York. The whole Summer Jam/Nicki thing, I can't really remember the situation, but I know it was my call. As far as last week['s show], last week was awesome. I think everything happens for a reason, and I think when people say that, you're not supposed to leave it at, 'Everything happens for a reason.' I believe everything happens for a reason and then you make the most of that reason. I think we made the most of it last week."
Last week of course being the New York concert hosted by the Young Money trio of Wayne, Drake and Minaj. However, it was one of the rare concerts that Wayne has had in New York in recent history. Minaj, who is from New York, may have been the only reason Wayne even showed up, because as he himself said, he "don't like New York."
